FAQ

Common questions, answered.

1. Do I need to be an existing Waplify customer to apply?

No. Anyone with an audience or relevant network can apply. Existing customers do get a small advantage during review since they already understand the product, but it's not required.

2. How much do I earn per customer?

It depends on the plan your customer buys. Lifetime plans (one-time, ₹9,999 to ₹74,999 depending on tier): you earn a flat 20% of the sale, regardless of your tier. On a ₹24,999 Gold sale that is ₹4,999 ($80 USD). There's no tier ladder on the Lifetime plan. Quarterly and Yearly subscriptions : you earn 20% to 30% of every renewal payment for the customer's first 12 months, based on your current tier. After 12 months from a customer's first payment, commission on that customer stops. The tier boost applies to new referrals once you cross 10 and 30 active customers.

3. How do the commission tier boosts work?

Three tiers, based on your active customer count. 20% from your 1st customer. 25% once you have 10 active paying customers. 30% once you have 30. Boosts apply to new referrals from the moment you cross each breakpoint. Existing customers keep paying you at the rate they were signed up under, so your effective earnings always climb, never drop.

4. How long does my referral get credited for?

12 months per customer, counted from that customer's first payment. During that window you earn your commission percentage on every renewal they pay. After 12 months, commission on that customer ends. The Referral Partner programme pays the same rate for those 12 months and then 15% for as long as the customer stays, so if you introduce businesses you already work with rather than sharing a link with an audience, that is the better fit. The cookie window for first-touch attribution is 180 days, meaning a click today can convert any time in the next six months and still be credited to you.

5. When and how do I get paid?

Payouts run monthly. Partners in India are paid via UPI directly to a linked bank account. International partners are paid via SWIFT or Wise bank transfer in local currency. Each commission clears 30 days after the customer's payment, and payouts run once your approved balance passes ₹2,000 (or $50). A balance below that carries forward, it is never lost. One condition applies to your first payout only: see below.

6. Can I run paid ads to my referral link?

Yes, with two exceptions. You cannot bid on "Waplify" or any close brand variant as keywords, and you cannot run ads from a domain or social handle that includes "Waplify". Everything else (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn ads on relevant audiences) is fine.

7. What if my referred customer asks for a refund?

If the refund happens within Waplify's 15-day refund window, the commission is automatically voided before it leaves pending status. If a chargeback or late refund happens after that, the amount is reversed from your next payout. You never have to handle this manually, and a refunded customer does not count toward your first-payout condition.

8. Should I apply as an Affiliate or a Referral Partner?

Affiliate if you have an audience to share a link with and do not want to be involved in onboarding or support. Referral Partner if you already work with small businesses and would rather introduce them to us: agencies, software and CRM companies, IT vendors, consultants and CAs. Both pay the same 20% to 30% ladder on a customer's first 12 months. The difference is that a Referral Partner keeps earning 15% on that customer for as long as they stay, and an Affiliate's commission stops at month 12. If you pick the one that fits you less well, we move you before approving the application.

9. Why does my first payout need 3 paying customers?

It is the one condition on your first payout, and it exists to stop the programme paying out on self-referrals. Your commission accrues from your very first customer and is held, not forfeited: once three different referred customers have each made a payment, everything you have earned is released together, and the condition never applies again even if a customer later cancels. Refunded customers do not count toward the three.
